Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Job Type: Fulltime

Reports To: Head of Operations & Tenant Experience

Role Purpose: This role ensures a 5-star hotel-like housekeeping service for Cove properties by cleaning units, maintaining common areas, and preparing rooms for short-term stays. Responsibilities include regular property circulation, overseeing weekly housekeeping, facilitating room turnovers, and conducting seasonal deep cleanings. The aim is to enhance the tenant experience by ensuring all units are well-maintained and comfortable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning Guest Rooms: Making beds, changing linens, and replacing used towels. Dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors. Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors. Replenishing toiletries and other amenities like soaps, shampoos, and tissues.
  • Inspecting Rooms: Checking for any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or malfunctioning equipment, and reporting them to the appropriate department. Ensuring that rooms meet the hotel's cleanliness standards.
  • Restocking Supplies: Keeping carts stocked with cleaning supplies and amenities. Replenishing minibar items, if applicable. Ensuring enough towels, pillows, and other guest room items are available.
  • Handling Laundry: Collecting dirty linens, towels, and uniforms for washing. Sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens. Delivering fresh linens to guest rooms and storage areas.
  • Maintaining Public Areas: Cleaning lobbies, corridors, stairways, and elevators. Ensuring high-touch areas (e.g., door handles, switches) are sanitized frequently. Restocking public restroom supplies and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Guest Interaction: Responding to guest requests, such as providing extra towels or pillows. Assisting guests with special requests, such as setting up cribs or rollaway beds. Being polite and attentive to guests' needs.
  • Adhering to Safety and Security Standards: Following proper procedures for handling chemicals and cleaning products. Reporting any safety hazards or suspicious activity to management. Ensuring lost and found procedures are followed.
  • Special Projects: Deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet cleaning or curtain washing. Assisting in room setup for special occasions or events. Participating in inventories and maintaining housekeeping supplies.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

      • Minimum 2 years coliving/hotel HSKP experience
      • A good command of spoken and written English
      • Driver’s license
