Job Title: Marketing Manager

Role Purpose: Cove is looking for an entrepreneurial and hands-on marketer to lead Singapore marketing activities across all channels with a bias towards social media, content, influencer, and performance marketing. The individual will be accountable for delivery against challenging growth targets and will be responsible for leading a small team so high drive for results and people skills are a must. The skill set required will need to encompass the full spectrum from execution through to strategy for which a solid marketing background will be key. The role requires a ‘can-do’, problem-solving attitude to tackle the broad range of challenges we face as a young start-up.

Goals/Deliverables:

  • Flawless marketing execution across all key channels
  • Increase top of funnel tenant inquiries
  • Drive funnel efficiency: improve conversion rates to property viewings and bookings
  • Meet room booking and vacancy rate targets
  • Ensure best in class data tracking and reporting
  • Manage marketing budget

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Singapore General Manager on developing the overall marketing strategy
  • Own the brand strategy driving distinctiveness and impact and ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
  • Deploy innovative and cost-efficient marketing activations that allow us to punch above our weight as a start-up
  • Oversee and develop consumer interactions to ensure we are delivering a stellar customer experience across all touchpoints
  • Lead the execution across all marketing channels including digital/performance marketing, content and social media, offline marketing and events, third party listing platforms, partnerships, PR (corporate and consumer)
  • Focus on continuous improvement across all channels to optimize effectiveness and ROI
  • Oversee development of best in class reporting dashboards and deliver regular performance reports to management and the board
  • Ensure we deliver the requisite number of room bookings set out in business targets
  • Work closely with the Singapore General Manager and Sales Manager to understand our customer and work in partnership to drive business objectives.
  • Work with the tech team to improve website and customer portals
  • Hone and develop all marketing processes and practices to increase team effectiveness

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Essential

  • An undergraduate degree in any field (business-related is a bonus)
  • Strong academic and professional track record
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Marketing (ideally in a high growth/tech-led business)
  • Experience managing a reasonably sized budget
  • Specific digital/performance marketing experience preferable
  • Experience in social media, influencer, and content marketing
  • Highly analytical and business driven.
  • Able to communicate clearly and work closely with business stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an early-stage start-up
  • Experience managing a team
