Job Title: Housekeeping Specialist

Job Type: Full Time

Reports To: Hotel GM

Role Purpose: This role ensures a 5-star hotel-like housekeeping service for Cove properties by cleaning units, maintaining common areas, and preparing rooms for short-term stays. Responsibilities include regular property circulation, overseeing weekly housekeeping, facilitating room turnovers, and conducting seasonal deep cleanings. The aim is to enhance the tenant experience by ensuring all units are well-maintained and comfortable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Arranging change of tenancy (COT) cleaning of entire Cove portfolio, currently at 200+ properties with 1000+ rooms.
  • Be in charge of the weekly housekeeping of the common areas of certain units (living room, kitchen, shared bathroom etc)
  • Help to turnover rooms through a thorough cleaning between tenancies
  • Arranging cleanings with AFM (external cleaning company) and monitoring of invoices monthly
  • Arranging schedules of 2 Inhouse cleaners
  • Assigning cleaning tickets to Inhouse cleaners
  • OT approvals for Inhouse cleaners
  • Inventory of cleaning items
  • Arranging of laundry collection with external laundry company (Eazihome)
  • Overseeing the cleaning schedule and laundry arrangement in Wanderlust Hotel
  • Quality checks of all the cleanings done either by Inhouse or External cleaners
  • Ordering of cleaning supplies (cleaning solutions, vacuums, mops etc)
  • Be the first warrant of the tenantability of our unit and of the wellbeing of our tenants
  • Improve tenant’s experience through a seasonal deep cleaning of the common areas
  • Cleaning all urgent/adhoc tasks assigned by Managers
  • Setting up the room with STS (Short Term Stay) items as and when needed
  • Reporting any missing cleaning items/supplies to Senior Tenant Experience Manager
  • Reporting 6 days a week, Saturday being half day.
  • Counting/Inventory of STS(Short Term Stay) items whenever assigned by any of Managers/Seniors

Deliverables:

  • Provide a 5-star hotel like housekeeping service to our Coveys
  • To ensure that the Covey’s stay is pleasant
  • Make sure units are well maintained and tidied

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Essential

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in similar role
  • A good command of spoken and written English

Preferred

  • Driving license
  • Experience working in an early-stage start-up
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
